Back by popular demand, Slipp Farm’s Organic Celebration will be Saturday, August 20th.

Starts at 1pm with music, food and more! Bring your tent and spend the night beside the beautiful Saint John River with breakfast Sunday morning. Bring your bathing suit, canoe, bike, snacks and friends. Come by land or water! Food provided by Slipp Farms 1784 Ltd., Speerville Flour Mill and Picaroons.

Looking like an amazing weekend

So, Slipp Farms has a ton of music planned for the weekend. Paula Jardine and the Homeless House Band are confirmed for Saturday afternoon (and maybe that evening too). There’s also Three Point Hedge, Iron Rooster, Southern Comfort (bluegrass), Gail Carpenter, Linda Bailey and more!!

Speerville Organic Mill also confirmed that they will be ready to serve 400 organic, wood-fired pizzas – yum, yum! Larry Slipp will be serving up BBQ hamburgers (from organic, grass-fed beef, of course!), and Picroon’s will quench your thirst with their organic brew. Just bring your own dishes/utensils, as it’s a low impact event.

There’s also swimming from the dock, so don’t forget your bathing suit and towel (the weather is supposed to be perfect).

Can you believe this is all free?? Of course, donations will be gratefully accepted.

Come campout or pop-in when you can — this will undoubtedly be a good time.

Organic Celebration PosterCome one, come all to the 1st Organic Celebration!

Join Larry Slipp and his family on their 7th generation organic family farm in the heart of the lower Saint John River Valley.

This camping and organic food event will begin Saturday afternoon at 1pm and finish up on Sunday afternoon. Enjoy an organic chicken and beef BBQ, fresh baking by Speerville Organic Mill (including pizza) and even organic beer from Picaroons!

There will be live music, a farm tour, as well as opportunity to swim in the Saint John River and visit a Ducks Unlimited heritage site. Most importantly, there will be lots of time to meet others involved in our vibrant community!

Bring your own tent, supplies, cutlery and dishes as this will be a low-impact event.

Bring your entire family, frisbee, bathing suit and any talents or instruments
you have to entertain the crowd!

This event will be taking place rain or shine–so come prepared for anything.

Cental Hampstead is less than hour from Saint John, Fredericton or Sussex–making it a great central location for us to celebrate. The only cost for the weekend will be food and beer (and if you want to bring something to share, that’s great too)!
